Art and Design for Social Change / Fresh Paint 7 / Project

CommonSense - Collaborative Image Sourcing

A unique interactive video installation, simulating a Collaboration – a new concept, connecting diverse organizations around one common denominator for the sake of a collective action, while preserving each organization’s unique nature. This installation was first created in the framework of an Art and Design Convention for Social Change, at Fresh Paint 7.

This interactive installation generates a dynamic eco-system, consisting of the audience’s thoughts. By using the application, every participant can create his own organism, which consists of an icon, a color and a word. This organism is charged with personal meaning, as it is joins the collective group of organisms, thus altering the collective action and its diverse meanings.

This installation is the climatic point of the original and innovative social program, which operates according to the values of Collaboration, by means of art and design.  Fifteen social organizations took part in this program, partners of Fishman group:  The Israeli Association for Mental Health, Beit Issie Shapiro, Access Israel Organization,  Migdal Or, The Institute for the Advancement of Deaf People in Israel, Shekulo Tov group , The Juristic Clinic for the Rights of Disabled People by the Hebrew University , Milbat, Kesher, Natel, Shekel, Israel   Guide Dog Center for the Blind , Ofek Liyladenu, Amitim and Zionut 2000.

The products of this program are four sustainable projects, created with the cooperation of all associations, aiming to bring about change and advance people with disabilities in Israel.

This program was initiated by:  Adi Yekutieli – an artist and social entrepreneur, Eliea Alon- Hacohen - partner CEO at Jumpstarter, Sharon Tilinger - Fresh Paint CEO and Vered Raz-Gatzek, Corporate Director of Social Investment of Fishman group.
