Some of the strong new influences in contemporary Danish design come together to embrace quality of life. In this context, dining and the fact that food brings people together have become an ideal vehicle for expressing design’s new humanistic approach. The outdoor kitchen exhibition, Play & Food, grew out of this current zeitgeist.
