Swedish Dads is based on portraits of dads who choose to stay at home with their child for at least six months. The parental leave system in Sweden promotes gender equality, and encourages men and women to share their parental leave more equally. In this project, the artist explores Sweden’s unique parental allowance, and wishes to inspire other fathers to consider the positive benefits of such a system.
