The project was inspired by the various states of water – waterdrops that evaporate, flow, and freeze. The sculptures present a fragile moment in which the bubble touches a surface and its perfect spherical shape is crushed, a blink of an eye before it bursts.

The bubble sculptures were made in collaboration with He Yongjun Lio and Wei Tong’s workshop in Jingdezhen, China.
