Recent surveys have shown that alarming percentages of Israelis would not want to live next to children with disabilities, let alone allow their children to play with them. The innovative True Superheroes project, presented by SHALVA, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, the Fishman Group and Fresh Paint Art Fair, works to promote social change in this area through the charming characters you were introduced to at Fresh Paint 5. In collaboration with Nickelodeon, the most watched channel among children in Israel, and the Toys R Us toys chain, the beloved characters will soon come to life, on the television screen in an animation series, and in a unique product line that will be launched around them.

At Fresh Paint 6, and with the enthusiastic help of the comics artist Uri Fink, we began a fundraising campaign for the animation series. The encounter with the audience, in which we were joined by 553 promoters, raised around 50,000 NIS.
