LATZET MEHAKUFSA 3 / Fresh Paint 4 / Project

For the first time in Fresh Paint 4, unique tin-boxes created as part of the "Latzet Mehakufsa"

project will be sold at the Fair, marking 75th anniversary of Tambour Latzet Mehakufsa ("getting out of the box") is a socially-oriented design project furnishing young artists and designers with a platform. As part of the project, a competition for the design of tin-boxes on a changing annual theme is held, inviting young designers and artists to participate. The winning designs are selected by a jury, produced in a limited edition, and sold to the public.
This year, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Tambour, the can designs focus on the theme of color. All proceeds from the sale are donated to the "Future Designers" program of "Latzet Mehakufsa" NPO, intended to equip youth at risk with professional tools that will give them the opportunity to integrate into the future work market as designers.
Jury: Galit Gaon, Chief Curator, Design Museum, Holon; Dan Reisinger, graphic designer and recipient of the Israel Prize in the field of design; Hedva Almog, Director and editor of the magazine Binyan VeDiyur; Michal Naim, co-founder of "Latzet Mehakufsa" NPO; Noga Schimmel, chairperson, Israel Association of Illustrators; Niva Yehiav, architect and design manager at Tambour; and 3 Bears Studio for Brand Strategy, Corporate Identity Design, Interactive and Multimedia.

The ten winning designs: Dan Allon, Elad Ben David, Hagit Hashimshony, Adi Hershkovici, Shay Katz, Yaara Man, Eitay Riechert, Doron Sohari, Yinon Zinger and Hili Ziv.
